It has more than 350 member organisations from over 70 countries. The Executive Director is responsible for: The effective implementation of the strategies and policies of the Council, The coordination of programmes formulation and execution, The hiring and management of the staff of the Headquarters The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of international  significant experience in the field of water management and governance at an international level, and be fluent in French and English.
